As OCWI president, I, Kathleen Listman, encourage you to join the club. OCWI consists of writers experienced in all genres, published, getting published, and new to the literary art. Each month, we invite speakers on different aspects of writing—getting published, marketing, submitting to agents, and the new world of publishing technology.
Since 1914, OCWI has contributed to literary achievement in Oklahoma and inspired the creative talent of its members. Today, we add to that desire and give fellow writers, of all ages and ability, a place to find support and companionship.
Membership is $25 a year. We welcome new members and their ideas. Perhaps you'll want to volunteer as a program chair or officer. Join us. Guests are welcome. I know you won't regret it. I look forward to introducing myself at our next meeting. OklahomaCityWriters@gmail.com
OCWI is an affiliate of the Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. (OWFI). For information on the statewide organization, contact Shelley Pagach, email sepagach.owci@gmail.com.
